About Backwoods

Backwoods is a place to grab a great meal, catch a game, meet up with friends, bring the family, and create memories.

We’re proud to be locally owned and deeply connected to the Payson community. From supporting our local schools and athletes to showing up for fundraisers, nonprofits, and community events, we believe being part of this town means being involved in it.

Our menu has something for everyone, our bar is ready when it’s time for a cold drink, and our patio is always the perfect place to kick back—pups included. Whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, game day, a night out, or just because you felt like stopping in, we’re glad you’re here!
